How Stampdt's name and logo were born

About Stampdt

I didn't have to think about the name because my wife, who has a journalism background and loves writing and playing with words, one day told me, "Why don't you call it Stampdt?" She continued, "It includes the Italian word for print, which is 'Stampa', an English intonation, and a little bit of German in honor of Gutenberg, who invented movable type."

I looked at her as if she had some kind of illumination and loved the name from the very beginning. So, this is why I didn't have to think about the name; my wife did it for me.

Once we established the name, I started playing with different ideas for the logo, but the more I searched, the more I realized that there are plenty of logos with an "S". I didn't want to have anything complicated, so I started researching fonts that could express the idea of creativity with technology. I ended up looking at the Bauhaus style, which I remember was one of the typefaces we used a lot in my grandfather's printing business. Then a font called Regime Grotesk caught my eye, especially because of its peculiar uppercase "S". I liked the style and the fact that although it's a recently designed font, it was inspired by Italian typefaces of the '20s and '30s, the same era as the Bauhaus movement. So, everything seemed to flow naturally, and without too much overthinking, the Stampdt logo was born.

Vision

I envision Stampdt as the premier destination for entrepreneurs and businesses seeking local marketing solutions. Here, their voices are heard, and their ideas thoughtfully considered.

Mission

Stampdt's mission is to empower new entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses to navigate the complexities of branding and marketing. At Stampdt, I achieve this through a blend of creativity, exploration, efficiency, and unwavering professionalism, deeply rooted in my Christian values.

Giving Back

When I started Stampdt, I wanted it to be a way to ensure stability for my family and a means to help people in need. Like many other companies and organizations, giving back aligns with my personal values and represents a commitment to the well-being of society. To achieve this, a portion of Stampdt's profits goes to help my brothers and sisters in Christ who are displaced and persecuted (The Voice of the Martyrs), as well as supporting food pantries to provide food around the corner and across the country for families in need in the U.S. (Operation Blessing).

My Printing Heritage

"The art of printing is deeply ingrained in my background as I come from a multi-generational printing family. This longstanding experience allows me to offer comprehensive printing solutions tailored to your needs."
